Role of the Consultant Centers in Solving Family Issue

The present study aims to exploring the role of counseling centers in solving family problems at three main areas: the reality of the role centers, the difficulties faced in providing services, and the proposed development methods to improve the services.in (Pre-marital, marriage, children, divorce) problems program. From the prospective of client and counsellor, although, this study aims to investigate the effect of some variables relative to clients, such as (age, educational level, occupational status, marriage period, number of children, income), and the variables relative to counsellor such as (age, educational level, professional specialization, income, work period). The study was based on the approach of social survey and the case study method by sample, which applied to (231) single of client and counsellor, by (191) single from clients, and (40) Single of counselor working at centers in Jeddah city, the sample are selected according to intended sampling method. The study also based on questionnaire, interview as two major tools to achieve its goals.
Statistical data was processed using Pearson correlation, (t-test), and (ANOVA). The result of the study indicate that the most important topics covered by pre- marital programs, and marital problems programs is to provide religious information of rights and duties between spouses, and communication skills. The children problems program was to encourage behavior and express feelings of love for their children.
While divorce programs were the importance of dealing with stress after divorce, although, the reality of the role of counseling centers in counselor development was clear goals work. As for difficulties, the results were traditions of society for pre- marital programs, marital problems and divorce program. While the most prominent difficulties at children problems programs was appointment Lack commitment, although, the most difficulties for counselors were building relationship between them and clients. As for The proposed development, for the counseling centers were to cooperative with community institutions such as media and universities, to introduce counseling centers services, while the most important development for counselors was cooperation with community institutions to exchanging experiences.
The study indicate that there were significant differences on the role of counseling centers in the pre-marital programs due to the variable of the educational level, although, children problem programs due to the variable of the marriage period, and the number of children. While, the development methods for the role of counseling centers in each of children's problems programs due to the variable age, marriage period and number of children. While, the role, and development for counselor training due to the variable age. However, there was no significant influence on difficulties of role of counseling centers among the current study variables.
