About the Unit: The Unit was established on the twenty-second of the month of Jumada I of 1438 H, by a decision of the Rector to establish a unit called the unit of Academic Plans and Programs, linked to the University’s Vice-Rectorate for Academic Affairs.
The establishment of the Academic Plans and Programs Unit is the strong endeavor of the University Agency for Educational Affairs to develop academic plans and
programs to comply with the ambitious vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.
To ensure learning outcomes and achieve competitiveness at all local, regional and international levels.
Vision: Standard plans and programs.
Mission: To build plans and programs through governing criteria that will be the constants of the state and its future plans, it is subject to the principle of cooperation with scientific institutions locally, regionally and globally in order to ensure that the outputs of education at the university are up to international standards.
Objectives
1. Building plans and programs in the light of criteria that are consistent with the standards of academic accreditation.
2. Coordinate with the scientific departments in the colleges to benefit from the public and private sectors to improve the level of academic plans and
programs at the university to serve the labor market.
3. Access to the experiences of academic institutions locally, regionally and globally to benefit from them in the development of plans and programs of study at the university.
4. Supervising the development of current and updated academic plans and programs at the University
5. Determine the academic plans and programs in the scientific departments of the university in order to develop them through the university's mission and strategic objectives.
