Account Holder Agreement

Employees holding administrative accounts may use them only to the extent required for performing their duties, while ensuring full compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy. Account holders are fully responsible for their accounts, and should ensure that they are properly secured. If account compromise is suspected, IT Security should be notified immediately.

Employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of data which they can access through their administrator rights, and may only use this data for the purpose it is granted access to. This extends to protecting data from those who aren’t authorized to view or access it.

The act of inappropriately accessing data and information, causing data compromise through negligence or failure to properly safeguard it, inappropriate use of administrative accounts and failure to properly secure these accounts may result in disciplinary action as per the University’s policies and Saudi Arabia’s laws and regulations, up to and including termination.
