2 - In all events, the judgment delivered by the district circuits shall be final, if the value of claim is not more than (50,000) fifty thousand Dirhams.

3- Judgments delivered by the courts of appeal shall be final and non- challengeable by cassation, if the value of claim is not more than (500,000) five hundred thousand Dirhams.

Federal Law No. 11 of 1992 On the Civil Procedure Law Article )150(

1- Appeal against judgments may be brought only by a person against whom a judgment is issued. Any person who has agreed a judgment whether expressly or implicitly, or a person in whose favour a judgment has been passed in respect of all of his applications, may not bring an appeal unless the law provides otherwise.

2- The appellant shall not be harmed by his appeal.

Article )151(

It is not possible to appeal against a judgment delivered during the progression of the claim if it does not resolve the entire dispute, with the exception of interim and urgent orders issued for staying the action, judgments subject to forcible enforcement, non-jurisdiction judgments and judgments affirming the court jurisdiction although the court has no competence to resolve the case.

Article (152) (as amended by Article 2 of Federal Law No.

10 of 2014)

1- The time limit for appeal against a judgment shall start from the day following the date of its issuance, unless the law stipulates otherwise.

The aforementioned period shall start from the date on which the judgment is served to the judgement debtor in cases where the latter fails to appear in all of the sessions set for hearing the case and to submit a defence statement, as well as the cases where the judgment debtor fails to appear and submit the relevant statement in all the sessions, following an application to expedite the proceedings after suspension thereof for any reason whatsoever.

2- The period shall start from the date on which the judgment is served, should any reason for the interruption of the proceedings occur, and should a judgment be issued without the involvement of the representative of a deceased party, incapacitated party or a party who lost his standing.

4- Failure to observe the appeal time limits shall result in extinguishment of the right to appeal, and the court shall sua sponte rule the extinguishment of such right.

Article (158) Penalty late submission of docs

Save in the circumstances excepted by a provision of the law, the parties may appeal against judgments of the court of first instance before the competent court of appeal.

Article (159)

The time-limit of the appeal shall be 30 days unless the law stipulates otherwise, and the time-limit shall be 10 days for summary matters.

Article (165)

1- An appeal transfers the action as is, to the stage it was in prior to the passing of the appealed judgment, only in respect of the appealed claims.

2- The court shall examine the appeal on the basis of the evidence, pleas and new defence submitted thereto, and based on what had been submitted, before that to the court of first instance.

4- It shall not be possible in the appeal to involve anyone who has not been a litigant in the case in which the appealed decision has been issued, and it shall not be allowed to intervene therein unless by those requesting to join one of the litigants or by those whom the appealed decision is considered an evidence.
