PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Dr. Bashria started her professional academic carrier on February 2001 as a lecturer at university of Juba – Sudan, at September 2002 she awarded scholarship to continue her PhD in Malaysia. She gained her PhD. degree in 2007 from college of Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Department, University Putra Malaysia. After she obtained her Ph.D., she returned back to her university in Sudan and worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University of Juba. On January 2013, she promoted to an associate professor at University of Bahri (Previously Juba). Beside her academic responsibility as an assistant and associate professor at University of Bahri, she hold deputy dean position from 2011 to 2014.

On September 2014, Dr. Bashria moved to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), to join the Basic Engineering Department at University of Dammam (KSA). Her responsibilities besides teaching the basic engineering courses for the biomedical engineering female students, she were the Coordinator of Female Affaires, her responsibility was executing all administrative decision regarding the female staff and employee, as well as coordinating all academic and none academic activates for female students.

On September 2016, Dr. Bashria moved to United Arab of Emirates (UAE) and joined the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering (SREE) at University of Sharjah. Currently she is working as an Associate Professor in the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering (SREE), College of Engineering, University of Sharjah (UAE).
