The workshop intends to serve the local community in UAE, targeting stu- dents, professionals, decision-makers, practitioners, researchers, and designers to ex- plore the benefits of seismic and protective designs for sustainable civil engineering structures in the UAE.
The workshop covers the following areas:
▶
Seismic Load Effects on Reinforced Concrete Structures
▶
Seismic Design of Reinforced Concrete Buildings
▶
Performance-Based Seismic Design of Structures
▶
Research Progress on Seismic Design and Retrofit of Reinforced Concrete and Steel Buildings.
▶
Principles of Blast Resistant Design and Blast Loads on Buildings
▶
Blast Load Effects on Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Structures.
▶
Research Progress on Design and Retrofit of Buildings Against Blast Loads
▶
