The goal of the project is to provide mobile robotic platforms with advanced mapping and navigation systems based on high-precision positioning and 3D measurement technology. This project is a Topical Research Studies (TRS), and its main goal is to generate in-depth knowledge of the visual human-oriented perception system for a social robot. The main objective of the project is to catalyze the development of robotics so that Europe can play a global stage in this field.

The pole of the Coimbra Institute of Systems and Robotics used to project NATO Science for Stability - PO-ROBOT had the responsibility of coordinating the team during the second phase of the project. The project involved teams from Lisbon (IST-UNL) and Porto (FEUP) poles from the Institute of Systems and Robotics. Retinal vision is needed to correlate several additional tests, such as fluorescein angiography.

A physical model is established to incorporate the process knowledge for the structures to be measured/displayed. The main objective of the project is the development of a computerized image analysis system for the study of choroidal circulation. Principal investigator of the cooperation and exchange projects 5 APSUBA - Active Perception for Scene Understanding and.

The goal of the presented project is to develop an active environment perception system, acting as an agent within a heterogeneous sensor network, for scene understanding and behavior analysis. High-level image processing has two main purposes, the first is related to the estimation of human movements and the second is the recognition of objects in the environment.

This was opened to other countries that have signed the European Cultural Convention of the Council of Europe. The Bologna Process currently has 47 participating countries, while there are only 27 Member States of the European Union. While the European Commission is an important contributor to the Bologna Process, the Lisbon Recognition Convention was in fact drafted by the Council of Europe and members of UNESCO's Europe Region.

To achieve this goal, N4C will opportunistically use a range of communication access methods, but with a particular focus on the currently evolving architecture of Delay and Interference Tolerant Networks (DTN) and related technologies, mainly developed by the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF). . ) DTN community. DTN technology will be used to meet some specific objectives for future Internet scenarios, such as methods of providing information on global warming in almost inaccessible areas and providing a means to include remote inhabitants in the future Internet society, thus contributing to the EC goals of e-inclusion and broadband access for all. A set of initial applications with specialized software and hardware will be tested in Sápmi/Lapland in northern Sweden, where there is a nomadic population.

This will develop into an ongoing test area for applications that provide communications in challenged areas. The intention is for N4C to be an extension of a more general federated future Internet testbed for use in more traditionally connected regions. The momentum of working together in the FP7 framework will significantly improve the applicability of the results by ensuring that they are applicable to multiple different scenarios and help with the goal of providing European leadership in the standardization of DTN technology.
