Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology-II, BDS-341
The aim of this course is to enable the students to gain an understanding of the basic principles of dental radiology, as well as radiographic interpretation. The course will also teach the students how to interpret normal anatomy, caries, periodontal and periapical diseases, as well as diseases which affect the jaw and skull bones. In addition, this courseis designed to introduce the students to the radiographicappearances of normal landmarks, developmental anomalies, traumatic injuries, and periodontaldisease.

Physics of Dental Diagnostic Radiology-I, BDS-352
The purpose of this course to integrate the knowledge in multiple dimensions such as understanding the basic principles of dental radiology which include radiation physics, biology and protection, practicing intraoral radiographic exposure techniques, learning the basic concepts of infection control procedures related to radiology, identifying and correct the radiographical film errors and identifying the normal anatomical structures.

Comprehensive Patient Management , BDS-611
The purpose of the Comprehensive Patient Management (CPM) course is to integrate the knowledge in multiple dimensions and to teach the students in what way to manage their patients and practices to ensure an achievable dental practice with minimal risk. In this course the students will be exposed to strategies on how to carry out risk assessment, treatment planning and patient management. The course will help the students in collecting, analyzing and critically evaluating information, thereby, enhancing both their clinical and research skills.
This course features an intensive clinical emphasis with lectures, seminars, and patient care experiences which will further develop the student’s expertise in the arena of comprehensive patient care.
