Al Ain University receives Omani Ambassador
Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, the Chancellor of Al Ain University of Science and Technology received H.E Dr. Khaled Bin Saeed Bin Salem Al Jaradi –Omani Ambassador to UAE- who was accompanied with Dr. Mahmoud Al Sulaimi - Cultural Attaché in the Sultanate Embassy. The meeting was attended by Prof. Ghaleb El Refae –AAU President- and Prof. Abdulhafid Belarbi –AAU Vice President (Al Ain Campus), where in the meeting discussions were about the existing cooperation relations that would strengthen the relationship between the two sides in various fields.
H.E Al Jaradi expressed his pleasure to visit Al Ain University of Science and Technology, praised the provided support to all students specially the Omani students by providing facilities and services which meets student’s needs and stressed on the university’s role in maintaining the quality of education to serve students and community. great levels reached by the university and the university’s role in maintaining the quality of education to serve students and community.
For his part, Dr. Atatreh was pleased with this meeting and praised the ambassador’s visit, stressing on that Al Ain University of Science and Technology is eager to support all students and provide everything they need to, qualify intellectuals and a conscious generation who are looking to the future.
Prof. El Refae welcomed the Ambassador and the Cultural Attaché, stressed on the university’s keenness to consolidate its relations with all local and international institutions. He added that the university seeks to provide all facilities for Omani and all other students and wished for continued friendly and cooperative relations between all parties.
