TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Organic Chemistry courses, for undergraduate and graduate students.
1. Organic Chemistry: A standard course offered to the third and fourth year class, Faculty of science.
Emphasis is on uses, syntheses, correlation of properties, structure and biological activity for compounds.
2. Organic Chemistry: A basic course offered to the first and second year class, faculty of science which covers functional group, heterocyclic and carbohydrate chemistry, dyes.
3. Spectrometric Identification of Compounds: The course deals with the principles and application of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass (MS) and infra-red (IR) spectrometry in the structural elucidation of organic compounds.
4- Other courses in practical organic chemistry (polymerization,chromatography, biochemistry) 5- Reaction mechanism: Describe and distinguish between the mechanistic steps of different organic
reactions: substation addition, condensation, and elimination.
6-Molecular Orbital's and molecular symmetry: Course description the molecular orbital theory, wave equation, wave functions, the method of linear combination of atomic orbitals, and stability of benzene.
7- Carbohydrate: Course description the structure of carbohydrate and stereochemistry 8- Environmental chemistry
