About
Dr.Obaid Aldosari is an Assistant Professor in College of Science and Humanities, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, (Secondment). He holds a MSc. and PhD in Chemistry from Manchester University and Cardiff University respectively. His research interests include directed toward understanding the field of heterogeneous nano-catalysis, a preparation and further evaluation of catalysts, catalyst designing involves the study of catalyst characteristics through numerous techniques (like BET, XRD, TPD/R/O, SEM, TGA, XPS etc.) to help understand the features of catalytic material for better activity/selectivity towards the required reaction, the reaction product analysis through analytical techniques (like GC, NMR, GC-MS) and the basic theme is to think non-traditionally in the field of heterogeneous nano-catalysis research. The research will have an effect in the areas of chemistry, nano-catalysts, fossil fuel free synthesis of platform chemicals and utilization of bio-renewable feed- stocks. He has publications in international conferences and journals. He has attended various conferences and presented many seminars.
