Number shown in 2 (a) as a percentage of the number who started the program in that student intake.) (b) Percentage of students which a completed intermediate award (if any). A cohort here refers to the total number of students enrolled in the program at the beginning of each academic year, immediately after the preparatory year.
Cohort Analysis (Illustration): Table 1 provides full tracking information for the most recent cohort to complete the program, beginning with their first year and tracking them until graduation (students who withdraw are subtracted and no new students are added). The quality committee on the electrical engineering program initiated a number of measures to meet the national and international requirements. Significant changes outside the institution affecting the program (if any) during the past year.
Describe and analyze how the individual NCAAA course reports are used to assess the program and to ensure ongoing quality assurance (e.g., the Undergraduate Program Committee (UPC) provided the program with a full report on the course report content that included recommendations and action plans that written by instructors.

For each course, state what was done to investigate, the reason for the significant result, and what was adopted. In some courses, the number of students is small; and consequently the statistical analysis of the results does not reflect the actual behavior on the course. Electromagnetics course is a difficult subject that requires a lot of imagination as well as mathematical and analytical skills.
Moreover, the nature of the laboratory work, which depends on imitating the tutor, makes it easy for students to achieve high scores. List any courses planned but not offered during this academic year and indicate the reason and what will need to be done if any compensatory action is required. Complete only where units not taught were of sufficient importance to require some compensatory action).
Engineering software supports the educational process and helps students design in different software packages. College is built in Temporary, not all supporting facilities available for students, for example rest and study area.

Assessment Year Program Learning Outcome: Identifying, designing and solving complex engineering problems using principles of engineering, science and mathematics NQF Learning Area: Cognitive Skills. Annual Assessment Program Learning Outcome: Use engineering design to produce solutions that meet specific needs while taking into account public health, safety and welfare, and global, cultural, social, environmental and economic factors. Assessment Year Program Learning Outcome: Develop and conduct appropriate experiments, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
Assessment Year Program Learning Outcome: Work effectively in a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, set goals, plan tasks and meet objectives. Interpersonal skills of students should be improved through increased discussions and group learning, interactive teaching and simulations. Assessment Year Program Learning Outcome: Recognizing ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and making informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental and societal contexts Area of Learning KKK : Interpersonal Skills and Responsibility.
Program learning outcome for the assessment year: application of knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering and the use of techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice. The induction week is intended to acquaint new faculty members with university regulations and rules.
Matters Raised by Evaluator Giving
Independent opinion on the quality of the program (eg head of another similar department/programme commenting on evidence and conclusions received). program that provides comments on received evidence and conclusions).
Professional Development Activities for Faculty, Teaching and Other Staff
Based on feedback from the report, we organized a workshop to update CLOs of all subjects.
Implications for Planning for the Program
Average rating of overall quality on a five-point scale in the annual survey of final year students.). Average assessment of the adequacy of study and career counseling on a five-point scale in the annual survey among final year students.). NOTE The following definitions are provided as a guide when completing the above table for Program KPIs and Assessment.
Target measure refers to the expected or desired outcome (goal or objective) for each KPI. KPI analysis refers to a comparison and contrast of the metrics to determine strengths and recommendations for improvement. Directions: Based on the "analysis of KPIs and metrics" provided in the program KPI and assessment table above, list the recommendations identified and proceed to establish a continuous improvement action plan.
ISI Conferences and Journals
Internal benchmarks refer to comparable benchmarks (actual results) from within the program (such as data results from previous years or data results from other departments within the same college). External benchmarks refer to comparable benchmarks (actual results) from similar programs that are outside the program (such as from similar programs that are national or international). New Target Benchmark refers to the establishment of a new expected or desired result for the KPI that is based on the KPI analysis.
Updating the EE curriculum
Action Plan Progress Report
- New Action Plan for Academic Year 1439-1440 H (2018-2019)
Encourage the students to take on more real projects and use their skills for the community. Organization of seminars for students on different Electrical Engineering topics involving experts from other universities and industrial companies. Following feedback from the faculty, students, other departments and market conditions, the curriculum at the electrical department is regularly updated.
So far, the program's curriculum has been subject to two major revisions related to the program's prerequisites and credit hours. Proposals for changes to subjects (deletion and addition of units or topics, changes to teaching or assessment procedures, etc.). New learning outcomes and advanced assessment methods approved by the department's board of trustees were redesigned as part of the electrical engineering program's pursuit of academic accreditation.
Such improvements have been made through the provision of professional staff training through seminars regularly offered by the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation (http://www.ju.edu.sa/en/administrations-portal/dekanat/dekanat-e- quality-academic-accreditation). These result in continuous improvements in the various activities of the Department of Electrical Engineering, which include teaching, research activities and community service.
