Once created, you must log in to the GAZT portal to complete your initial GAZT registration. By this, in all transactions related to Zakat, they will be treated as a single company under ownership. Through this service, you can make changes to your registration details on the portal including shareholder and financial details.

This means that all GAZT communications will now be directed to the updated contact details. This service allows you to change your GAZT portal login password after authentication through OTP (one time password) sent to your registered mobile number. You can use this service to request a change of registered branch if you have moved your headquarters or main branch.

This service allows you to delegate specific authorities for preset terms to specific accounting firms or tax service providers. You can delegate all available services except updating your registration details for Zakat or CIT (corporate tax).

DECLARATION SERVICES

You must file your return and complete your payment within 120 days of the end of your tax period. Your statement to be filed will be made available with the due date in the GAZT portal. Only for Zakat - If a tax return is amended after 120 days after the end of the taxpayer's financial year, GAZT will consider that the taxpayer did not submit the tax return within the statutory deadline.

If there is a need to amend your tax / Zakat return, you can use this service to make a request for amendment. You will receive an approval from GAZT after your submission, then you will be able to amend your return. This service allows you to request a change in the financial year start/end of your Zakat and CIT registration.

PAYMENT AND REFUND SERVICESRVICES

Once you complete the statement, a SADAD invoice will be created containing the invoice number and the amount owed. You can pay through online banking or through an ATM with a SADAD number. If the advance payment is not received within 7 days of the request, the installment request will be cancelled.

If you do not respond to document requests within 20 business days, your installment plan will be cancelled. In cases where you are having trouble paying the full amount of zakat, income tax amount and/or penalty, this service allows you to apply for payment in installments. This service allows you to offset payments between taxpayers if you have paid taxes to the wrong account.

Before submitting your request, you must obtain written permission from the other taxpayer indicating the incorrect transaction. If your current advance payment schedule cannot be met, this service allows you to request a reduction of the second and third advance payments after full payment of your first advance payment.

CERTIFICATION SERVICESES

In addition, you can request a certified copy, replacement for a damaged certificate or account statement. Through this service you can check if a business is certified for zakat for the current year. If you cannot receive your Zakat certificate due to the ongoing appeal process or another reason, this service allows you to achieve certification to be used for specific contracts.

Contract or purchase order must be in Arabic, if the original is in English, it must be translated by a certified translation office.

OBJECTION SERVICESVICES

If you disagree with the revised tax return, this service allows you to request an objection. You must provide a bank guarantee within 20 days of your request, otherwise the objection will be canceled (for VAT only). Bank guarantee for new total VAT amount, including non-fixed fines and additional unpaid amounts.

You can request a re-objection. assessment via e-services at the following link: https://www.gazt.gov.sa/en. If your objection is rejected, this service allows you to forward your objection to the preliminary committee for reconsideration. You have the option to start the settlement process before the first-instance commission issues a decision to settle the disputed amounts.

So you can submit a settlement request by email. settlement@gazt.gov.sa) and the mediation committee will investigate the request and submit its decision within a period of 60 days, with the option to extend the period to another 60 days if you so desire.

INQUIRY SERVICESRVICES

Whenever you want to inquire about anything related to GAZT, there are various channels available to reach us. These channels will allow you to communicate with knowledgeable GAZT employees who will answer any question you may have. All responses received through these channels shall not be construed as legal advice and shall not be relied upon in any way for any purpose.

Any person or persons who use or in any way rely on responses received through these channels shall do so at their own risk and shall indemnify GAZT, including its employees, agents, representatives, representatives, managers and contractors from any loss, damage, liability , claim or demand arising from such response. Registered taxpayers can use this service to submit ruling requests, which can be used to get clarification on how to interpret the tax laws and regulations and how they apply to specific transactions. GAZT reserves the right to reject any decision request it deems inappropriate.

The terms and conditions set out in the Warrant Request Form shall apply to all Warrants at all times. Processing time may vary, as submitting a response to a decision request may require longer periods of time to review and analyze.

COMPLAINTS SERVICES SERVICES

If you are dissatisfied with any interaction or service provided by GAZT, this service allows you to raise complaints. You can inform us about your complaint via our available channels https://www.gazt.gov.sa/da/contact-us. If you suspect that a company is not complying with KSA tax laws, this service allows you to report such activity to GAZT.

DEREGISTRATION SERVICESVICES

In the event that your business is no longer an eligible taxpayer in the KSA, this service allows you to apply for de-registration of your TIN. This implies if you have ceased to exercise an economic activity and/or cease to exist as a legal entity. All taxpayers who have ceased to exercise economic activity and/or cease to exist as a legal entity in the KSA.

If your company has several branches registered under one TIN, the closure of any branch will have to be recorded on the GAZT web portal. You can only remove additional sockets, the main socket will remain as long as your TIN is active. In addition, if the commercial registration of your company was created on the basis of a permit that has become inactive, this service allows you to remove the connection with your TIN number in the GAZT system.

When the point of sale is deregistered from our system, you will receive a notification by text message and email. If your company has multiple permits registered under one TIN, the termination of a permit must be recorded in the GAZT online portal. If the commercial registration of your company was established on the basis of a permit that has become inactive, this service allows you to remove the link to your TIN number in the GAZT system.
