AHsTRAcr The Saudi Arabian society has passed. since more than 25 years. with rapid changes in different aspects of social life. To trace such changes. is one of the concerns of scholars in different areas of research. To he sure. the rural sector. as well as the urban and bcdwin sectors. has passed changes in different ways of life. especially the changing roles in rural fam- ily. Such changes in family roles. of course. will ledtothe change of the gen- eral type of rural life. So the main aim of this study is to trace such change.
