SUMMARY
APPLICATION OF FIELD MODEL TO INVESTIGATION ONTO INFLUENCE OF ELEMENTS ON FORCE MAGNITUDE OF LINEAR INDUCTION MOTOR
Truong Minh Tan, Doan Thanh Bao In the paper die elecfromagnetie field analysis on single sided bnear induction motor (LIM) is presented. The finite element simulations are performed in the 2D domam of the analyzed motor, by using tiie Finite Element Metiiod based software FEMM. It is started with field calculations and the computational results are used to determine force characteristics of single sided LIM. Special attention will be paid to the magnetically produced forces and their dependence of trailing eddy current effects and magnetic asymmetry, the air gap length and the secondary electric conductivity. The presented characteristics are considered to be good basis for steady-state analysis of tiie LIM in later research.
