The study uses semi-parametric model developed by Wooldridge (2009) lo estimate the production function and measure the total factor productivity (TFP) of foreign direct investment textiles and garment firms in Vietnam over the period 2013-2018. At the same time, il analyzes the impact of factors on TFP of these firms. The results show that the average contribution of factors (except for capital and labor) lo the output of these firms registers 3.24; Institution and business environment have positive impacts on their TFP (The decimal numbers in this article are written under international standards).
