KMUTT Scholarship for International Students

Petchra Pra Jom Klao Bachelor Degree Scholarship (44 Scholarships)

Eligibility of the candidates:

GPA of 3.50 and above

Petchra Pra Jom Klao Master Degree Scholarship (68 Scholarships)

Eligibility of the candidates:

 Bachelor’s Degree with honors, or

 In case the candidate has not obtained Bachelor’s Degree yet, the candidate should have obtained the certificate of graduation with GPA of 3.25 and above in the Bachelor’s Degree before signing the scholarship contract and the candidate must be selected to be KMUTT students.

Petchra Pra Jom Klao Ph.D. Research Scholarship (60 Scholarships)

Eligibility of the candidates:

 Bachelor degree with first class honors, or

 Bachelor degree with second class honors and places in the first 10% of the class (A Certificate from Registrar’s Office)

 A GPA of 3.5 and above in the Master’s Degree, or

 In case the candidate has not obtained Master’s degree yet or has gained GPA of 3.25 to 3.5, should have published full research papers in national and international journals.

 Candidates should have a letter from some KMUTT instructor or researcher indicating his /her willingness to be the candidate’s advisor, if granted by this scholarship.

Multi-Intellectuals Scholarship

Qualification of Eligible Applicants

 Eligible applicants must be a local resident of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

 Eligible applicants must gain the English Proficiency Test Score (IELTS, TOEFL)

 Eligible applicants must be nominated by KMUTT’ faculties or schools.

Number and amount of Scholarship

 4 scholarships for each degree (Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree)

(60 USD) Terms of the Scholarship

 The recipient must complete the program and must not resign or terminate the academic term without reasonable explanation.

 The recipient has to be a person with a good character and abide by the rules and regulation of the KMUTT. Otherwise, the recipient will no longer receive the

scholarship.

 The recipient has to obtain the accumulated GPA (Grade point average) o GPA of 2.50 or higher for Bachelor’s Degree

o GPA of 3.25 or higher for Master’s Degree

o If the recipient obtains lower GPA than what had been stated, the scholarship for that academic year will not be provided. However if the next academic year the recipient has reach the required GPA the scholarship will be reinstate.

KMUTT International Scholarship Program (KISP)

Qualification of Eligible Applicants

 Eligible applicants must be the foreign students except Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Greater Mekong Sub-region Scholarship (GMS)

KMUTT has recently offered graduate scholarships to foreign students from Greater Mekong Sub-region

Qualification of Eligible Applicants

 Be a foreign student who lives in Greater Mekong Sub-region countries including Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Vietnam, and China (Yunnan Province only);

 Be nominated directly from Faculties or Schools of the University.

Number and amount of Scholarship

Terms of the Scholarship

 Scholarship recipients must be able to study until finishing educational program, not resign or take leave without acceptable reasons.

 If scholarship recipients have undesirable behavior or violate the rules and regulations of the University/ Faculty/ Institute/ Office, the scholarship will be canceled.

 If scholarship recipients’ academic result is less than the requirements, the scholarship will be canceled.

 For Doctoral Degree, the scholarship recipients must have cumulative grade of the academic year not less than 3.50.

 For Master’s Degree, the scholarship recipients must have cumulative grade of the academic year not less than 3.25.

 Scholarship recipients must help the University about 10 hours per week during the first 3 semesters.
