The study aimed to assess faclors affecting the value of agricultural production in Cai Lay district, Tien Giang province. Data was collected from 120 households in Cai Lay district.
Cobb - Douglass production function was used lo assess the impacts of faclors on agricultural production of household. The results discovered 6 factors, which are Production cost; Labor;
Area of production land; Access to agricultural extension; Product consumption through contracts; Adoption of new varieties. In particular. Production cost has the strongest impact.
The factors of Adoption of new varieties and Product consumption through contracts are correlated with the production output, bul their impacts are negligible.
