Nganh thxic pham va do uong la nganh kinh te quan trong va con n h i l u tiem nang phat trien do c i u thi trUdng trong niidc va xua't kh^u deu ra't cao. Doanh nghiep nho va VLfa (DNNW) hoat dong trong Knh vUc che bien thiic ph^m, do uong tai Viet Nam dang phat trien manh me. Theo Niem giam cua Tong cue Tho'ng ke (2016), trong tong so 6630 doanh nghiep hoat dpng trong linh viic che bien thiic phltm Viet Nam nam 2015, c6 94,31% la cac D N N W vai gan 50% la cac doanh nghiep sieu nho. Doi v6i nganh san xua't do uong, c6 98,68% la cac D N N W vai khoang 70% la cac doanh nghiep sieu nho.

Cac doanh nghiep nay n e n giam 35% ydu to' d l u vao dang sfl dung (Ifldng, tai san vat cha't va nguyen vat lieu) ma vSn c6 th^ gifl nguyen dfldc ldi n h u a n hien tai.
