Communication Strategies in Social Media in the Example of ICT Companies
Literature Review 1. Sustainable Development
The findings from the research were included in the statement that the use of Twitter in social responsibility communication can contribute to increasing awareness of the organization's CSR activities. Subsequent research on the use of microblogging to communicate CSR conducted by Lee et al. According to researchers, choosing an appropriate communication strategy is crucial for obtaining a positive attitude of stakeholders towards the organization [41].
Messages sent to stakeholders as part of the adopted strategy often relate to the organization's market success, sales growth, industry leadership. Communication involving two or more parties is a fundamental condition for the implementation of the organization's social responsibility. Similarly, in the case of the second communication strategy—the asymmetric communication strategy—here, the stakeholders do not influence the organization's strategic activities.
The asymmetry of communication and the asymmetry of the organization's attitude towards its stakeholders is also visible in the place that the organization marks for its stakeholders in this process.
