komberse, speelgoed, kombuisware en talle ander noodsaaklikhede is ingesamel.

Volgens hom is dit belangrik dat almal in die huis altyd weet waar die sleutels is. Daar moet nie na sleutels gesoek word in geval van nood nie. Moet nooit ligte in huis aanskakel indien jy iets buite hoor nie.

Police seek information
Stellalander-Kuruman - The police here are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man was hit.
The man, who is believed to be 40-years-old was hit by a truck in Voortrekker Sreet, Kuruman
on Thursday (27 June).
It is alleged that the deceased was crossing the road when the truck
hit him.
He was wearing a blue trouser, a blue T-shirt, grey tracksuit top and brown shoes at the time of the incident.
The body of the deceased is not yet identified as police are still struggling to trace his family.
However, the police investigation continues.

Stellalander-Deben - A 30-year-old is expected to appear before the Magistrate’s Court here following his arrest subsequent to be found in possession of dagga.
He appeared on Monday (1 July). The police received a tip-off regarding a man in possession of dagga walking in the streets of Deben.
Police promptly reacted to the information and spotted the suspect carrying a bag. Upon a search and investigation, dagga weighing 3kg with an estimated street value of R12 000 was found packed inside the bag.
The suspect is facing a count of dealing in dagga.
The Cluster Commander of the John Taolo Gaetsewe, Major Genl Johan Bean applauded community members for their continuous zeal to fight against crime within neighbourhoods. “Communities have power to eradicate drug related crimes, drug dealers should not have operational space among communities,” he concluded

Stellalander-Vryburg – It has been almost a week and the electricity in this town is still a worrying matter.
Several residents in all parts of Vryburg were left in the dark on Wednesday (3 July). This without any explanation.
It is alleged that a cable has blown.
All electricity would have been restored by 22:00 on Thursday (4 July) and all house holdings were automatically limited to use 15 amperes.
Anyone who went over this had an electricity outage for a minute up until an hour.
On Monday (8 July) it was brought under Stellalander’s attention that several houses, including the primary school’s hostel and Gert Lubbe Stadium, have not had any electricity since it went out.
According to the residents, supervisors at the Naledi Local Municipality assured them that all electricity will be restored early this week.
Unfortunately, this was not true.
According to a reliable source, a private electrician last visited the site on Saturday (6 July).
This while the supervisor is still assuring residents that they are currently busy looking for the problem.
The whole team also packed up their equipment on Monday afternoon.
Allegedly they said that they have been working through days and nights to solve the problem but up to date could not find anything.
This leaves the whole community of Naledi in a tight spot, as no one can get along with the current electricity limit, what else to say about any electricity at all.
By the time of going to press Stellalander have not heard back from Naledi.

Stellalander-Vryburg - ‘n Poging om die hoë vlakke van ernstige misdade te verminder en die gemeenskap van die Noordwes provinsie veiliger te maak, het speurders 239 verdagtes in hegtenis geneem.
Die verdagtes is in verband met verskeie misdrywe tussen Donderdag en Vrydag (4, 5 Julie) aangekeer.
111 verdagtes is in hegtenis geneem vir aanranding met die doel om ernstig te beseer (GBH) asook aanranding algemeen.
Verder is sewe verdagtes vir gewone roof, 15 vir kwaadwillige skade aan eiendom, 25 vir diefstal, ses vir verkragting, een vir moord en 19 vir residensiële en besigheidsinbrake aangekeer.
Van die 239 arrestasies was 28 vir misdade teen vroue en kinders.
Die verdagtes is in al sewe polisie klusters in die provinsie aangekeer en sluit een van die provinsie se Top 50 gevaarlikste verdagtes, Godfrey Moganedi, in.
Moganedi is sedert 2012 by sakerooftogte en motorkapings wat onderskeidelik in Lichtenburg en Itsoseng gepleeg is, betrokke.
Die verdagtes sal na verwagting op Maandag (8 Julie) in verskeie howe in die provinsie verskyn.

Stellalander-Delareyville - The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Tswaing here will write to the Municipal Manager MI Moruti requesting more information about a court order that now has a huge impact on the cash flow of the municipality.
This, according to the party, after the legal team of the municipality ignored a court order (CAS Nr: 45331/18) to pay their debt to Kuyalunga Traffic Solutions, the plaintiff went ahead and attached the assets of the municipality.
They feel that this again resulted in the municipality’s failure to honour the payment of salaries to all employees and councillors.
“This has put a serious financial burden on all employees and councillors. Payments to medical aid funds, pension funds, and SARS are also not paid,” read the statement of the DA. According to the party, they gave Moruti seven days to explain why he and the legal team ignored the court order.
“We also want the full details of the court order, a commitment for the payment of salaries and a clear plan to pay medical aid funds, SARS and the pension fund. He also has to commit to a date when the salaries will be paid,” concluded the statement.

Die ongeluk het op Sondagoggend (7 Julie) om 06:40 sowat 24km buite Vryburg op die Kurumanpad plaasgevind.
Volgens inligting wat deur die polisie ontvang is, het die bestuurder na bewering beheer van sy voertuig verloor.
Dit volg nadat hy `n trok probeer vermy het wat sy beheer verloor het.
Die voertuig het in die proses omgeslaan.

Sers Tshidido Taunyane en Sers Olebogeng Lekwene het op Maandag (1 Julie) om 01:30 twee vroue onderskeidelik 18 -en -22-jaaroud en drie mans tussen 20 -en -23-jaaroud, in hegtenis geneem.
Dit volg nadat die twee polisiebeamptes besig was met misdaadvoorkoming op die N14-pad.
Hulle het ‘n verdagte silwer Toyota Etios sonder registrasie opgemerk. Hulle het die Etios gestop en die vyf insittendes is ondervra. Die verdagtes is in hegtenis geneem nadat hulle nie kon bewys dat hul die wettige eienaars van die voertuig is, of waar die nommerplate is nie. Dit is later berig dat ‘n saak van motorvoertuig diefstal in Kathu aanhangig gemaak is en dié Etios daaraan gekoppel is. Die vyf verdagtes sal voor die plaaslike landdroshof verskyn.

Gordon Oliphant of the Huhudi Fitness Centre’s Reasitwa project continues to Kuruman and Batlharos. Here he handed over blankets to residents of Batlharos.
They are Emma Fobs, Bonique Ngonelo, Emelie Mdluli, Onkarabetse Ngonelo, Mpho Mdluli, and Gordon Oliphant.
The Reasitwa project continues to Polark Park residents in the Huhudi informal settlement.
Children who received fleece blankets is Tlotlo Lekgotle, Bagomotseng Lekgotle, Thabiso Mohatlhe, Nkgotsang Lekgotle, Ontlametse Monare, Nkamogelang Monare, and Retlhabile Mohatlhe. With them is Meshack Mokgara (organiser) and Gordon Oliphant (Huhudi Fitness Centre).
The residents of Monoto Mosetlha in Huhudi received fleece blankets from Gordon Oliphant of the Huhudi Fitness Centre. They are Pholoso Pitso, Bontle Paper, Tshenolo Modise, Boitumelo Modise, Lethabo Paper, Rebaone Paper, and their parents.

Houmoed se kinderprogram
Gedurende die Junie vakansie het die lede van die Houmoed VLU weer die kinders van die Verwes maatskaplikediens besig gehou met kunsaktiwiteite.
Hier is Jana Smit, Elsie Marx, Lizellé van Tonder en Hettie Vos by die kinders met hul geverfde hempies en ingekleurde sakkies.
Die kinders van die Verwes maatskaplikediens het elkeen ‘n T-hemp geverf, ‘n sakkie ingekleur, herwin en geverf en blikkies versier.
Daar is ook kolwyntjies versier en die kinders is na `n lodge in die omgewing geneem vir `n ete en ‘n wildsrit. Die kinders is daagliks van kos voorsien en het al drie dae lekkergoedpakkies ontvang.
Alles is deur die taklede geskenk. Hier is Hilda Swart (Verwes maatskaplikediens), Waldo Badenhorst (Welsynwerker), Esmé Barnard, Marina Treurnich, Maureen Blom, Mari Blom en Ruth Mothapa (Verwes maatskaplikediens).

The Reatlegile Primary Infants choir recently participated in the Tswaing Sub district and obtained first place for the English song “Jesus loves me.” They also obtained the second position for the Zulu song
“Balekami.” During May the choir represented the Tswaing sub district at the Ngaka Modiri Molema district competition and they also walked away with the first position. Here the choir is with their choir conductor Boitumelo Ntlame and the school principal SG Mushi.

Vryburg Posduif wedvluguitslae
Op Maandag (8 Julie) het die matrikulante van die CVO-skool in Vryburg, saam met AfriForum Jeug gespan en besluit dat dit nodig is om die in en uitgange van Vryburg netjieser te maak.
Hier is die jongklomp besig met die skoonmaakaksie wat as ure vir hul Christelike Lewensoriëntering vak (CLO) dien. Sowat 61 swartsakke vol rommel is op die dag opgetel. Hulle daag ander skole in die omgewing en ook die provinsie uit om voort te gaan met die inisiatief.
Jonkvonk is `n jeugorganisasie wat die afgelope tyd die jongmense van Vryburg bymekaar bring deur aktiwiteite wat leerders die geleentheid gee om deel te wees van lekker uitdagings, aangesien die dorp min daarvan bied. Op Donderdag (4 Julie) het belangstellendes die kans gekry om deel te neem aan `n lekker ‘wheelie’-uitdaging. Hier is Tiaan Brandt in aksie. Hy stap weg met die derde plek terwyl, Armandt Coetzee in die tweede plek eindig en Lukas Jacobs is die wenner. Hulle daag leerders van alle skole in die omgewing uit om deel van die organisasie te word en te kom deel in die pret.

The competition is open to young women between the ages of 17 and 25-years-old who lives/work in the physical distribution area of the Stellalander. Only young women who are not married and have not been married before and who have not yet had any children will be allowed to enter. The winning young woman must understand that she should be available to Stellalander

Stellalander-vryburg - Die Nasionale Departement van Landbou het onlangs met `n bewusmakingsveldtog in die Noordwes provinsie hier begin.
Besoeke is by varkboere afgelê nadat Afrika Varkgriep reeds in twee provinsies opgemerk is.
Dit volg nadat beheermaatreëls reeds in albei provinsies ingestel is na gerigte van `n uitbraak in Gauteng en Mpumalanga.
Die direkteur van veeartsdienste by die Departement van Landbou en Landelike Ontwikkeling in die Vrystaat, Kristan Mojapelo, sê die virus het aanvanklik op
‘n plaas in Heilbron uitgebreek, asook by Koppies.
Die veldtog word gehou in samewerking met die Suid-Afrikaanse Varkprodusente Vereniging (SAPPO).
Dit is daarop gemik om boere in te lig oor die voorkoming, oordrag en verspreiding van die siekte.
Die veldtog het reeds in Bloemfontein, Springfontein en Fauresmith in die Vrystaat plaasgevind.
