Item 4 Progress on mSCOA Implementation of Circular 71 Dashboards and generation of A, B and C Schedules from core system
REPORTING REFERENCE FORUM
• Have acquired and upgraded the hardware, software and licences required to be and remain mSCOA compliant;
• Budget, transact and report on all six (6) legislated mSCOA segments and directly on the core financial system and submit the required data strings directly from this system to the local government portal;
• Lock down the budget adopted by Council on the core municipal financial system before submitting the budget (ORGB) data string to the local government portal;
• Closed the core financial system at month-end as required in terms of the MFMA before submitting the monthly data string to the local government portal; and
• Regulated Schedules (A, B, C) must be generated directly from the core municipal financial systems.
The manual correction of data strings by municipal officials or system providers are not allowed in terms of the mSCOA Regulation

• What is the progress with MFMA Circular 71 dash boards be available?
• MFMA Circular 88 Performance Indicators is currently applicable to
Metro's only, but will be applicable to all municipalities by 2020/21. How are systems incorporating the indicators?
