AFRICA

The election exposed the elitist and conspiratorial underpinnings of the existing political solution in the country to serious questions. The political settlement was negotiated around power sharing and the structure of the rentier state.

ECONOMICS

CHINA-INDIA

There is no doubt that the modernization of the agricultural sector in the 1980s greatly boosted production. There is thus no direct link between the size and power of the state and corruption.

POLITICS

The government should come to the party by ensuring sound governance in the state-owned power companies and clear policy directions. The growth of this militancy is fed by the profile of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and elsewhere, and beyond. Euro-American World Dominance Current fundamentalist Islamic claims can be traced back to the 1648 Treaty of Westphalia, which was established after the Thirty Years' "War of Religion" in Europe.

In an attempt to restore world order in the wake of World War I and the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916 placed Iraq, Transjordan and Palestine under British protection. This "crime", says Mahmood Mamdani, resulted in the politicization of culture, religion and indigeneity, excluding subjugated and minority groups. The focus on the primacy of the divine in political conflict is a critical theological principle, largely repressed in the servitude of institutional religion to the dogma of ruling and rebel groups, which elevates political conflict to the realm of final (spiritual) encounters between rebels and the state.

Al-Qaeda in the Maghreb originated as an armed Islamic group fighting against a secular state in Algeria; al Shabaab began as a military wing of the Somali Council of Islamic Courts;.

INTERNATIONAL

IS's efforts to recruit Muslim communities in different parts of the world have also spread to South Africa. South African patriots must reclaim that victory as the foundation on which to build the spirit of the Freedom Charter and the African Renaissance. The spirit of no surrender was etched in the minds and blood of generations of South Africans to come.

In 1961, the people who had been struggling against the antagonistic contradiction, manifested through oppression, exploitation and violence, founded Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) to defend the spirit and letter of the Freedom Charter. And which still subjugates, oppresses and exploits our people, and also dehumanises parts of the population. That is what the Constitution meant when the Democratic Parliament received it on behalf of the Nation.

It is the voice that will negate our need to be professional students in the West.

UP THE GAME

All shall be equal before the law

People in different parts of the country have been shot for participating in protests and demonstration parties. The consciousness lies in the deepest thoughts of the African masses that the century of African renaissance has come. Reclaiming the Freedom Charter should mean that the ANC will have to go back to the drawing board and undertake a serious paradigm shift to implement the clauses of the Freedom Charter.

In May 1964, he told a Nigerian newspaper that the "Peace Corps are spies of the US government and missionaries of colonialism and neo-colonialism. William Gardner Smith, another of the more than 120 African Americans living in Ghana at the time and assistant editor-in-chief of Ghana TV, wrote that Malcolm "inspired great admiration. John Lewis of the US-based Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, who was living in Ghana at the time of Malcolm's visit," found Malcolm is respectful".

He was rushed to the hospital..His stomach was pumped out..and that saved him..Analysis of the stomach pump revealed a 'poisonous substance'.

COMMENT

We play the same game but stay in our own half of the pitch. Most of those who live in the system, including the stranger or visitor, become part of the lie system. Turkey also has a limit of 10 percent of the electorate before a political party can sit in parliament.

Modernity is an ideology that inspires imperialism and assumes the superiority of one part of the world (the global North) over another (the global South). Many are calling (as in postmodernization) for an abandonment of the use of the concept. One of the most notable cases is the continued colonial occupation of Western Sahara (officially known as the Saharan Republic), a full-fledged.

The foregoing is evident in a speech given by Oliver Reginald Tambo, then President of the Exiles.

CHALLENGES FACING AFRICAN LEADERSHIP ON THE OCCASION OF AFRICA WEEK

A relic of Western post-neo-colonialism was the instructive note of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to African countries that initially had trading privileges. Global capitalism is firmly rooted in the global community and this is reflected in the dominance of the USA, a peculiarity of the 'hyper-power'. The African dependency syndrome Africa's overdependence on its former colonizers is a direct result of the neoliberal policies it adopted in the past, under the control of the Bretton-Woods institutions.

But how are we to meet and acknowledge the challenges of underdevelopment and the channeling of 'development aid' to Africa. Bauer (1981) highlighted the flaw in such artificial efforts by saying that "the argument that aid is indispensable for development runs into an inevitable dilemma. The reconstruction and development of Africa is entirely dependent on the consciousness of its leaders and the active participation in socio-economic development and political processes.

NATIONAL AND CLASS STRUGGLES IN SOUTH AFRICA

The ANC and the Communist Party built the alliance into a characteristic feature of the struggle before and after the 1994 elections. The ANC's relationship with the Communist Party contributed to its development into a liberation movement that also included large sections of the working class. attracted. Concerns were expressed within the Communist Party about a possible dilution of the class struggle and subjugation of the class to the national struggle.

In the process, the alliance must ensure that its constituents are not drawn into divisive internal battles at the expense of key constituencies and the revolution. Separation of the alliance will not be in the interest of any of the components of the alliance. Revolutionary theory teaches us to understand the dual nature of the challenges an organization faces.

10 This is a resolution adopted by the Executive Committee of the Communist International after the 6th Comintern Congress.

WOMEN AS REPRESENTATIVES

The quest to define women's role in leadership and their specific political needs and interests seems elusive and lacking. The significance of August (also known as "women's month") owes its credit to these intrepid women, who gathered to petition against the country's pass laws. The emergence of organized women's involvement has not only helped us understand women as a social group, but has also provoked a debate about women's interests and needs in social, political and economic areas (Young, 1990).

Molyneux argues that there are three ways in which women's interests can be categorized: strategic interests; Interestingly, the women of 1956 make it possible to take into account not only the categories of women's interests presented by Molyneux, but also these categories. As a result, the women of 1956, who collected more than 100,000 signatures to petition against the apartheid government's legislation to control the movements of black South Africans, have proven that organized women's social groups have the capacity to bring about change by representing the interests. and needs of the people.

Indeed, organized social groups of women have the capacity to represent not only their political interests and needs, but they also have the capacity to represent the needs and interests of society as a whole.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Transforming the racial and gender imbalance of the research and scientific workforce is an important aspect of the program. Minister Pandor emphasized that the additional women's research chairs are not "quota appointments" but impressive candidates of a high caliber. Census data indicates that only 11.3% of women with post-secondary education in South Africa are in the fields of natural sciences, computer science and engineering.

Minister Pandor said that the dominance of humanities and social sciences could only be expected because women had been directed, from a. Dr. Beverley Damonse, acting chief executive of the National Research Foundation, said the NRF had contributed more than R340 million to women scientists' research projects in 2014 alone; and since 2002 has supported more than 18,000 women to achieve their postgraduate qualifications. 34; Today's announcement of 42 new female research chairs is part of our joint efforts with DST to address the gender differences in the research community.

We congratulate the respected researchers who occupy these research chairs and we look forward to their research outputs," concluded Dr Damonse.

COCA-COLA

The first celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Coca-Cola Contour Bottle kicked off earlier this year in Cape Town and Johannesburg with a global art touring exhibition featuring world-renowned artists such as Clive Barker, Burton Morris and Andy Warhol. South Africans were the first to see these works of art, a selection from Coca-Cola's collection of 33,000 works of art that the company has amassed since 1928. Through a partnership with Art Week Joburg, Coca-Cola South Africa is able to support our talented youth by raising awareness for our burgeoning contemporary art scene in South Africa.

The Coca Cola Contour bottle exhibition on display at Art Week Joburg is curated by Soweto-based curator Zanele Mashumi, who makes art accessible to the masses by bridging the gap between emerging artists and inexperienced art buyers. The Coca-Cola contour bottle is still at the center of the happiest moments shared by our consumers around the world today, as it was in 1915 when it was first patented. We believe that the contour bottle will continue to inspire artists as Coca-Cola will continue to support local artists in their craft,” said Magubane.

An enduring classic icon in the history of packaging design, the contoured bottle remains a canvas for innovation today, including the development of Coca-Cola's aluminum contoured bottle and various packaging.
