I. The Editorial Committee has agreed to a change in the Afrikaans name of this Journal. From its inception to Volume 9 (1979) the Afrikaans name has been Suid- Afrikaanse Tydskrif vir Antarktiese Navorslng. This has now been changed to Surd- Afrikaanse Tydskrifvir Naporsing in Anlarktika from this Volume (No. 10/11, \981).
2. In order to bring this Journal back onto schedule, Volumes 10 (1980) and I I (\981) have been combined into this Volume, designated as Volume 10/11, \981.
Aankondigings
1. Die Redaksiekomitee het dit goedgevind om die Tydskrif se naam te verander.
Sedert die begin tot by Band 9 (1979) was die Afrikaanse titel Suid-Afrikaanse Tyd- skrif rir Antarktiese Nal'orsing. Dit word nou met die verskyning van h.ierdie band (no. 10/1 L 1981) verandcr in Suid~Afrikaanse T.tdskrif vir Nmwsing in Antarktika.
2.· Om die Tydskrifweer gereeld te kan laat verskyn, is Band 10 (1980) en l I (1981) in 'n enkele uitgawe saamgevat wat as Band 10/11, 1981 aangedui word.
