The 1st Battalion of the Gordon High- landers arrived in Edinburgh jn January, 1936, after heing abroad since "\larch, 1920.
During Lhis period jt had seen service in Turkey, Malta. Delhi, Secunderbad, the Khvher Pass, Peshawar and Palestine. Of the. original hand '\\hich sailed from Southampton in 1920, only the Bandmaster.
