Langgeng Subur, the Head of PPPK, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Jakarta. One of the Echelon II officials in Secretariat General of the Ministry of Finance passed away in his office after doing morning exercise in a series of events welcoming Hari Oeang Republic of Indonesia.
His employee told that the Head of PPPK who has served since 2010 feels tired and wants to take a rest after completing two sets of table tennis match. His name is wellknown in Ministry of Finance as one of the active officials and had won several titles in table tennis.

Pria yang merupakan lulusan Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara (STAN) pada tahun 1988 dan kemudian melanjutkan sekolah di University of New Orleans, Louisiana, AS itu dikenal sebagai sosok yang sangat mementingkan pendidikan.
Ia selalu saja mendorong para pegawainya untuk terus bersemangat dalam melanjutkan pendidikan.
Langgeng mengawali karier di Kementerian Keuangan sebagai anggota tim audit Inspektorat Umum di Inspektorat Jenderal Kementerian Keuangan pada tahun 1993. Ia menghabiskan hampir setengah dari masa pengabdiannya di Inspektorat Jenderal sebelum akhirnya diangkat sebagai Direktur Pengelolaan Dana Investasi, Direktorat Jenderal Perbendaharaan pada tahun 2006.
Tak lama menjabat pada Direktorat Jenderal Perbendaharaan, ia ditunjuk sebagai Kepala Pusat Investasi Pemerintah (PIP) dan akhirnya pada tahun 2010 berlabuh di Pusat Pembinaan Akuntan dan Jasa Penilai, yang ketika ia pimpin berubah menjadi Pusat Pembinaan Profesi Keuangan. Jabatan Kepala Pusat diembannya hingga detik terakhir hidupnya.
Delapan tahun sudah Langgeng Subur mengabdikan tenaga, pikiran, dan waktunya di Pusat Pembinaan Profesi Keuangan.
Selama menjabat sebagai Kepala Pusat, ia dikenal sebagai pepimpin yang menjunjung tinggi profesionalisme dan integritas dalam bekerja. Pengkhianatan atas nilai-nilai itu amat pantang dilakukan sekalipun ada celah yang memungkinkannya bertindak demikian.
Tidak hanya sekali atau dua kali terdengar cerita bagaimana kegigihannya menjunjung tinggi integritas bahkan sampai hal paling kecil semisal datang lebih pagi ke tempat kerja atau lebih awal setiap kali ada janji.
The man who graduated from Indonesia State College of Accountancy (STAN) in 1988 and then continued his studies at the University of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA was known as a person who is very concerned with education. He always encouraged his employees to be enthusiastic in continuing their education.
Langgeng began his career in the Ministry of Finance as a member of the General Inspectorate audit team at the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Finance in 1993. He spent almost half of his service at the Inspectorate General before finally being appointed as Director of Investment Fund Management, Directorate General of Treasury in 2006.
Shortly serving the Directorate General of Treasury, he was appointed as Head of the Government Investment Center (PIP) and finally in 2010 anchored at the Center for Accountant and Valuer Development, which when he led changed to the Center for Financial Professional Development. He assumed the position of the Head of the Center until the last second of his life.
Langgeng Subur has devoted his energy, mind and time to the Center for Financial Professional Development in 8 years. He was known as a leader who upheld professionalism and integrity at work.
Betrayal of these values is very unbearable even though there is a gap that allows it to act this way.
Not only once or twice have you heard stories of how persistence upholds integrity even to the smallest things such as coming early to work or early every time there is an appointment.
The Ministry of Finance admitted it was difficult to find a replacement figure.
“It would be difficult to find a leader like him in the next two, three, or five years,” said Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, Hadiyanto who also took the departure of Langgeng Subur to his funeral.
In the eyes of his employees, he is known as a leader who is very good, friendly, and upholds the

“Akan sulit untuk mencari sosok pemimpin seperti beliau dalam waktu dua, tiga, atau lima tahun ke depan,” tutur Sekretaris Jenderal Kementerian Keuangan, Hadiyanto yang ikut mengantar kepergian Langgeng Subur hingga pemakamannya.
Di mata pegawainya, ia dikenal sebagai sosok pimpinan yang sangat baik, ramah, dan menjunjung nilai sopan santun dalam bertindak dan bertutur kata. Siapapun yang pernah
bertemu dengannya, baik sekadar berpapasan di jalan maupun bertemu dalam suatu acara pasti tidak akan pernah lupa ciri khas senyumannya yang lebar dan hangat.
Langgeng juga merupakan pimpinan yang mampu menjadi teladan bagi pegawainya.
Meskipun sudah mendapatkan jabatan yang tinggi, ia enggan untuk dilayani selayaknya pejabat. Alih-aih, ia lebih memilih mandiri ketika mampu melakukannya sendiri. “Bapak itu gak pernah nyuruh kalau bisa melakukan sendiri,”
tutur pegawai yang sering mendampinginya dalam acara-acara dengan asosiasi profesi keuangan.
“Bapak”, begitu panggilan akrabnya, seringkali berperan sebagi bapak bagi para pegawai PPPK.
Ia tak segan-segan mengingatkan pegawai yang berbuat salah karena tidak ingin mereka melakukan kesalahan yang sama kedua kalinya.
Ia pun kerap memberikan nasihat untuk para pegawainya untuk banyak berbuat kebaikan.
“Selamat jalan Bapak. Kami akan rindu Bapak, nasihat Bapak, dan senyuman Bapak yang tidak mungkin kami lupakan

Langgeng is also a leader who is able to set an example for his employees. Even though he got a high position, he was reluctant to be served as an official. Rather, he prefers to be independent when he can do it himself. “The father never told if he could do it himself,” said the employee who often accompanied him on events with financial professional associations.
“Father”, as he is called, often acts as a father to PPPK workers. He did not hesitate to remind employees who made mistakes because they did not want them to make the same mistake the second time. He also often gives advice to his employees to do a lot of good.
“Mr.”, once his familiar call, often acts as a father to PPPK officers. He did not hesitate to remind the wrongdoer because he did not want them to commit the same mistake the second time. He often gave advice to his servants for many good deeds.
