A. Implikasi dan Saran 1.Implikasi
Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini terhadap permasalahan rendahnya keterampilan guru dalam menulis materi ajar ialah pentingnya menambahkan keterampilan menulis materi ajar bagi calon guru dalam kurikulum jurusan pendidikan fisika di LPTK. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis materi ajar ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara menerapkan rancangan program perkuliahan ini pada berbagai mata kuliah bidang studi fisika sehingga membentuk aktivitas learning to write. Implementasi aktivitas learning to write sangat penting memperhatikan tahapan-tahapan pada scaffoldingnya. Melalui penyisipan learning to write pada berbagai bidang stuidi tersebut akan memperluas kesempatan mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis materi ajar. Rancangan program perkuliahan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan calon guru dalam menulis materi ajar ini, juga dapat diaplikasikan pada Prodi Kimia dan Prodi Biologi sehingga terbentuk writing across curriculum.
2. Saran
Berdasarkan hasil dan temuan penelitian ini, beberapa saran yang diajukan adalah sebagai berikut:
a. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui keefektifan rancangan program perkuliahan ini apabila disisipkan kedalam berbagai mata kuliah bidang studi fisika. Saran yang dapat dilakukan apabila program ini disisipkan kedalam mata kuliah bidang

studi ialah : diterapkan pada pokok bahasan yang sama dengan pokok bahasan di sekolah menengah, Dosen mengajarkan konsep tersebut dengan menggunakan multi representasi dan multi modus representasi, mahasiswa diberi tugas menulis yaitu menjelaskan suatu konsep fisika secara tertulis kepada siswa sekolah menengah.
b. Apabila program untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis materi ajar ini mau diterapkan pada perkuliahan bidang studi dengan jumlah mahasiswa banyak, maka disarankan sebagai berikut: terapkan ketika membahas pokok bahasan yang sama dengan pokok bahasan yang diajarkan di sekolah menengah, mengajarkan pokok bahasan tersebut dengan menggunakan multi representasi dan multi modus representasi, pada tiap mahasiswa diberikan contoh tulisan amteri ajar yang menggunakan multi modus representasi atau ditunjukkan buku-buku teks yang menggunakan multi modus representasi, tiap kelompok mahasiswa diberi tugas menulis materi ajar, proses pembimbingan dan peer reviunya selain dikelas juga dapat ditambah dengan menggunakan surel .
