Lahir di Surakarta pada tanggal 14 Juli 1949. Lulus sarjana pertanian-IPB pada tahun 1974. Pengalaman bekerja pertama sebagai Land Development Supervisor di PT Palembang Rice Estate di Palembang Sumsel pada tahun 1975-1977 yang selanjutnya sejak Maret 1977 mulai mengabdikan dirinya di PTP XXI-XXII (Persero) sebagai petugas tanaman di mulai di PG Krembong sebagai Sinder Kebun Percobaan (PTG). Pada tahun 1981 ditugaskan di Proyek Pembangunan Pabrik Gula Cinta Manis Sumatera Selatan. Kembali ke Jawa Timur pada tahun 1986 dan ditugaskan di Direktorat pengembangan Kantor Direksi PTP XXI-XXII (Persero). Tahun 1988 mulai bertugas di Bagian Tanaman PG Gempolkrep dan alih tugas ke beberapa PG meliputi Ngadirejo, Krian dan Djombang Baru sampai akhirnya sejak 1999 ditugaskan sebagai Kepala bidang Agronomi PTPN X sampai mengakhiri masa tugasnya di PTPN X pada tanggal 31 Juli 2005. Pada tahun 2006 menyelesaikan S2 pada Program Studi Manajemen Agribisnis di Fakultas Pasca Sarjana UPN Surabaya. Aktif menulis pada media Majalah Gula Indonesia dan LPP.com. secara insidentil sebagai pengajar tamu di LPP Yogyakarta. Setelah purna tugas berkesempatan bekerja di PT Saraswanti Sawit Makmur-Kaltim (2005- 2009). Sejak Maret 2009 aktif bertugas pada Komite Audit PTPN X sebagai bentuk dedikasi dan karyanya bagi peningkatan kinerja PTPN X.

Born in Solo, August 12, 1950. Retired army with high dedication and devotion to the NKRI, began his career in the Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Infantry from 1974 to reach levels of Brigadier General in 2004. A wide range of security operations in the State has been entrusted to preserve and defend the Republic of Indonesia. Engaged in military operations from West Kalimantan, East Timor to Irian Jaya. Since 2008 has been active as Chairman of the Audit Committee PTPN X.

Born in Surakarta on July 14, 1949. Agriculture-IPB graduated in 1974. Lahir di Malang 11 Februari 1947 memulai karir bekerja di Bagian Pembukuan PT Biro Pharmantara Surabaya (1966-1971), sebelum akhirnya mulai berkarya di PTP XXI-XXII (Persero) di awali di unit Pabrik Gula Gempolkrep sebagai karyawan kantor bagian AKU. Selama mendharmabhaktikkan di PTPN X (Persero) lebih banyak bekerja di Bagian AKU di beberapa unit pabrik gula. Antara lain di Modjopanggong dan Ngadirejo, sebelum akhirnya dipercaya sebagai Kepala Bagian AKU di PG-PG Krembong dan Ngadirejo. Pada akhir masa tugasnya bertugas di kantor Direksi PTPN X berturut-turut di Biro SPI Bidang SDM, Biro Sekretariat Perusahaan dan akhirnya menduduki jabatan sebagai Kepala Bidang Pengembangan Usaha. Selama bertugas di PTPN X telah mengikuti berbagai pelatihan dan peningkatan kompetensi yang diselenggarakan oleh perusahaan maupun lembaga lain di luar perusahaan maupun lembaga lain di luar perusahaan. Dengan masa kerja lebih dari 30 tahun. Bapak dengan putra 13 orang ini mempunyai hobi olahraga, berkebun dan membaca ini mengakhiri tugasnya di PTPN X pada tanggal 1 Maret 2003. Untuk menikmati masa purna tugasnya. Sejak Maret 2010 mendapat kepercayaan untuk ditugaskan sebagai Anggota Komite Audit PTPN X.
