Berdasarkan pembahasan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1. Oscillatoriasp. menghasilkan senyawa lemak tak jenuh yang memiliki

bioaktivitas sebagai antibakteri, khususnya terhadapE. coliyang telah resisten.

2. Berdasarkan hasil analisis spektroskopi FTIR,1H,13C, dan 2D NMR, struktur senyawa antibakteri yang diusulkan adalah asam gadoleat atau berdasarkan sistem IUPAC dikenal sebagai asamcis-eikos-9-enoat.

3. Asamcis-eikos-9-enoat memiliki aktivitas antibakteri dengan zona hambat 7

mm pada dosis 100 μ g.

B. Saran

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada beberapa hal yang perlu ditindaklanjuti, antara lain:

1. Untuk peneletian lebih lanjut, perlu dilakukan isolasi dan pemurnian asamcis- eikos-9-enoat dalam jumlah yang lebih besar guna mencukupi kebutuhan analisis.

2. Perlu dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan spektroskopi massa (LC- MS atau GC-MS) untuk mendapatkan struktur yang lebih tepat dari asam gadoleat dan struktur analognya.

3. perlu dilakukan uji banding bioaktivitas asamcis-eikos-9-enoat terhadapE. coliyang normal dan yang resisten terhadapchloramphenicol.

4. Perlu adanya kajian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri asam cis-eikos-9-enoat secara kuantitatif terhadap bakteriE. coliresisten.

5. Perlu dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui mekanisme kerja antibakteri asamcis-eikos-9-enoat terhadapE. coli.
