BAB 6 KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN
6.1. Kesimpulan
Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan-kesimpulan sebagai berikut :
1) Terdapat efek antibakteri ekstrak etanol daun teh hijau (Camellia sinensis) yang diperoleh dengan metode soxhletasi terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli yang diuji secara in vitro. 2) Terdapat perbedaan efek antibakteri ekstrak etanol daun teh hijau
(Camellia sinensis) yang diperoleh dengan metode soxhletasi terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli yang diuji secara in vitro.
6.2. Saran
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dibuat saran-saran sebagai berikut : 1) Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai kandungan dalam
daun teh hijau (Camellia sinensis) yang paling efektif sebagai antibakteri
2) Perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk menilai kadar inhibisi minimum (minimum inhibitory concentration) ekstrak etanol daun teh hijau (Camellia sinensis) terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli
3) Perlu dilakukan penelitian lain mengenai efek ekstrak etanol daun teh hijau (Camellia sinensis) terhadap bakteri lain ataupun mikroorganisme lain seperti jamur atau parasit
