KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN

6.1Kesimpulan

1. Nilai RDW tidak meningkat bermakna pada pasien-pasien yang mengalami penyakit jantung koroner jika dibandingkan dengan pasien yang mempunyai arteri koroner yang normal.

2. Nilai RDW juga tidak berbeda secara signifikan diantara subgrup penderita PJK berdasarkan keparahan dan luas dari PJK.

3. Umur, jenis kelamin pria dan skor gensini berbeda bermakna (lebih tinggi) pada pasien dengan PJK jika dibandingkan dengan pasien dengan arteri koroner normal.

4. Apabila 14,8% dipakai sebagai nilai potong RDW, sensitifitas dan spesifisitas untuk mendeteksi PJK adalah 13,6% dan 81,5%.

6.2Saran

1. Sebaiknya dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan sampel yang lebih besar agar memberikan hasil yang lebih representatif.

6.3Keterbatasan Penelitian

1. Sampel penelitian relatif kecil dimana sampel yang lebih besar akan memberikan nilai statistik yang lebih besar.

2. Desain penelitian merupakan retrospektif sehingga penilaian terhadap hasil angiografi dan hasil lainnya tidak dapat diperoleh secara maksimal.

3. Kami juga tidak dapat meyingkirkan kemungkinan ganguan nutrisi (defisiensi besi, vitamin B12 dan folat), hipertiroid, dan hipotiroid yang dapat mengganggu nilai RDW pada pasien penelitian dikarenakan pemeriksaan diatas bukan pemeriksaan standar pada pasien-pasien yang akan menjalani tindakan angiografi koroner di rumah sakit Haji Adam Malik.
