6.1 Kesimpulan
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa jenis protozoa yang ditemukan pada darah dan saluran pencernaan biawak air adalah
Haemogregarina sp. dan Eimeria sp.
6.2 Saran
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dasar berupa sebuah proses identifikasi. Penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk mengetahui protozoa pada biawak air yang belum ditemukan, serta untuk identifikasi yang lebih spesifik hingga ke tingkat spesies dengan PCR dan sekuensing.
