Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari kelima dimensi kepribadian big five, hanya kepribadian extraversion yang menunjukkan pengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kepuasan pernikahan secara signifikan, melalui sumbangsih trust sebagai variabel moderator. Istri yang memiliki kepribadian extraversion, cenderung mempercayai hubungan pernikahan yang telah dijalani, walaupun hubungan pernikahan tersebut dijalani dengan jarak jauh, individu yang memiliki kepribadian extraversion akan
tegas dalam komitmen yang telah dijalaninya, sehingga tingkat kepercayaan yang tinggi, menjadikan individu tersebut lebih puas terhadap pernikahannya.
Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu, melakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh kepribadian terhadap kepuasan pernikahan, dengan trust sebagai variabel moderator, terhadap pasangan suami dan istri. Sehingga diperoleh hasil penelitian yang lebih menyeluruh dan seimbang. Penelitian selanjutnya, juga diharapkan meneliti dengan memilih variabel moderator lain berkaitan dengan kepribadian big five terhadap kepuasan pernikahan.
