Bank selalu menjalankan berbagai aktivitas terkait CSR secara berkelanjutan. Dalam upaya menjaga harmoni kehidupan, Bank telah menyalurkan dana sebesar Rp4,049 miliar pada berbagai aktivitas CSR.

This is based on the awareness that the success of a company not only because of a purely business aspect but also in terms of its ability to maintain harmony between community life, environment and natural surroundings. The corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities that have been conducted by the Bank, many of them held in conjunction with Artha Graha Peduli (AGP). The Bank always carries out various CSR related activities in a sustainable manner. In an effort to maintain the harmony of life, the Bank has channeled Rp4.049 billion in various CSR activities.

1. Penyelamatan Lingkungan dan Alam.

Sebagai sokoguru perekonomian, perbankan memiliki fungsi strategis untuk mendorong dunia usaha agar turut menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan alam. Bank Artha Graha Internasional bersama Artha Graha Peduli telah melakukan berbagai aktivitas yang sejalan dengan azas Green Banking serta upaya mengantisipasi pemanasan global. Salah satunya, Bank Artha Graha Internasional turut berpartisipasi melalui Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation, kawasan hutan konservasi untuk perlindungan keanekaragaman hayati flora dan fauna di Kabupaten Lampung Barat dan Kabupaten Tanggamus, Propinsi Lampung. Selama tahun 2010, Bank Artha Graha Internasional juga terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan penyelamatan lingkungan, seperti penanaman pohon mangrove di pesisir Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta Utara, penanaman pohon di Gunung Pancar, Kabupaten Bogor dan sebagainya.

2. Tanggap Bencana Alam.

Menyadari kondisi Indonesia yang termasuk dalam wilayah rawan bencana alam, seluruh kantor cabang Bank Artha Graha Internasional bekerjasama dengan Artha Graha Peduli turut berpartisipasi dalam meringankan penderitaan para korban bencana. Sepanjang 2010, di sekitar lokasi letusan Gunung Merapi, gempa bumi dan tsunami di Padang dan Mentawai, serta berbagai lokasi bencana lainnya, Bank Artha Graha Internasional terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan terkait penanganan bencana, evakuasi, suplai kebutuhan dasar hidup, donasi untuk sarana kesehatan, fasilitas tempat tinggal, dan sebagainya.

1. Rescue of Environment and Nature.

As a pillar of the economy, banks have a strategic function to encourage businesses to be care for the environment and nature. Bank Artha Graha Internasional along with Artha Graha Peduli has conducted various activities in line with the principles of Green Banking and efforts to anticipate global warming. In one of these activities, Bank Artha Graha Internasional participated through Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation, a conservation of forest areas for biodiversity protection of flora and fauna in the districts of West Lampung and Tanggamus, Lampung Province. During 2010, Bank Artha Graha Internasional was also involved in various activities to save the environment, such as planting mangrove trees in coastal areas of Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, planting trees in Mount Pancar, Bogor Regency, and so forth.

2. Natural Disaster Response.

Realizing that conditions in Indonesia, including in areas vulnerable to natural disasters, all branch offices of Bank Artha Graha Internasional, in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli, participated in alleviating the sufferings of disaster victims. Throughout 2010, around the location of the eruption of Mount Merapi, earthquakes and tsunami in Mentawai, and various other disaster sites, Bank Artha Graha Internasional was involved in various activities related to disaster relief, evacuation, supply of basic necessities of life, donations of health facilities, shelters, and so forth.

3. Humanitarian Action, Social Activities and Community Empowerment.

Various humanitarian activities, social service and community empowerment have conducted in all branch offices of Bank Artha Graha Internasional in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli and community organizations. During 2010 similar activities were carried out including the participation of employees in blood donation, distribution of basic necessities to the people in need, giving donations to various humanitarian activities, improvement of places of worship and other social activities in welcoming the religious holidays. Together with the National Narcotics Agency, Bank Artha Graha Internasional also participated in commemorating the Anti-Drugs National Day held on the island Miangas, North Sulawesi Province. On the island Miangas, Artha Graha Peduli provided social assistance for the elderly, the construction of places of worship, school supplies, and the socialization of the dangers of drug use in society. In addition, Bank Artha Graha Internasional, Artha Graha Network and Artha Graha Peduli supports and participates in Sail Banda Maluku, by deploying KM Tunas Wisesa 03. One of the activities that carried out in KM Tunas Wisesa 03 is Surya Baskara Jaya Operation, which providing treatment and health service for freeIn the field of education, Bank Artha Graha Internasional also participated in activities aimed at improving the quality of education, through providing learning facilities, improvement of school facilities, special donations and so forth.

3. Aksi Kemanusiaan, Bakti Sosial dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat. Berbagai kegiatan kemanusiaan, bakti sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat telah dilakukan seluruh kantor cabang Bank Artha Graha Internasional bekerjasama dengan Artha Graha Peduli dan organisasi masyarakat. Selama tahun 2010, diantaranya melalui partisipasi karyawan dalam kegiatan donor darah, pembagian sembako kepada masyarakat kurang mampu, pemberian sumbangan terhadap berbagai kegiatan kemanusiaan, perbaikan sarana ibadah dan kegiatan sosial lainnya dalam menyambut hari raya keagamaan. Bersama Badan Narkotika Nasional, Bank Artha Graha Internasional juga berpartisipasi memperingati Hari Anti Narkoba Internasional yang dilakukan di pulau Miangas, Propinsi Sulawesi Utara. Di pulau Miangas, Artha Graha Peduli memberikan bantuan sosial untuk para lansia, pembangunan sarana ibadah, perlengkapan sekolah, dan sosialisasi bahaya penggunaan narkoba di masyarakat. Selain itu Bank Artha Graha Internasional, Artha Graha Network dan Artha Graha Peduli mendukung dan berpartisipasi dalam Sail Banda Maluku, dengan mengerahkan KM Tunas Wisesa 03. Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan didalam KM Tunas Wisesa 03 adalah Operasi Surya Baskara Jaya, yaitu pengobatan dan pelayanan kesehatan secara gratis. Dalam bidang pendidikan, Bank Artha Graha Internasional juga berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bangsa, diantaranya melalui bantuan sarana belajar mengajar, perbaikan fasilitas sekolah, donasi khusus dan lain-lain.
