C. Recommendation

Based on the result of this study, the researcher offers some recommendations. First for English teacher, the researcher recommends to select appropriate technique in teaching English for high school students especially on reading skills. Buzz group technique is highly recommended to be applied in teaching reading comprehension due to it can avoid the boredom and attract students‟ interest and motivation. Second for further research, the researcher recommends to conduct further study in different level which is this study conducted for Senior high school students. Thus, in this study, narrative text was selected to employ the material in measuring the improvement of the students‟ reading comprehension, therefore for further research can employ other kinds of text to apply those techniques.

Additionally, it was suggested to apply Herringbone and Buzz group techniques in teaching four language skills; reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
