BAB V SIMPULAN, IMPLIKASI, DAN REKOMENDASI

C. Rekomendasi

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan desain keramik yang bertumpu pada pembelajaran mandiri lebih efektif daripada model pelatihan desain selama ini diselenggarakan (model konvensional) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi desain keramik bagi komunitas perajin keramik. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan salah satu solusi bagi industri keramik dalam meningkatkan tingkat penjualan produk keramik dan lebih jauh lagi meningkatkan kesejahteraan komunitas perajin keramik.

Hal-hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam implementasi model pelatihan desain keramik yang bertumpu pada pembelajaran mandiri secara ideal adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Perlu adanya koordinasi dan kerjasama antara UPTD Keramik, perajin keramik, dan instruktur dalam mengidentifikasi produk pelatihan, tujuan pelatihan yang ingin dicapai, karakteristik peserta pelatihan, kompetensi awal peserta pelatihan, berbagai hambatan yang mungkin muncul, strategi dan metode yang akan digunakan, resiko yang mungkin muncul, biaya yang diperlukan, dan kemanfaatannya.

2. Harus dirancang program pelatihan yang komplit dan terstruktur dari model pelatihan yang akan dilaksanakan.

3. Diperlukan adanya komitmen yang tinggi dari instruktur dan peserta pelatihan untuk melaksanakan model pelatihan sesuai dengan rancangan yang telah dibuat.

4. Evaluasi dilakukan tidak hanya menyangkut evaluasi hasil belajar melainkan evaluasi juga terhadap proses pembelajaran.
