5.2. Saran
1. Pada penderita gagal jantung perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan NT-proBNP untuk menilai tingkat keparahan klinis dan stratifikasi resiko sehingga penatalaksanaannya menjadi lebih optimal.
2. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan subjek yang lebih besar dan kelompok kontrol disertai dengan penilaian fungsi ventrikel kiri pada penderita gagal jantung.
3. Perlunya penelitian tentang NT-proBNP yang dihubungkan dengan berbagai kondisi klinis lainnya seperti gagal ginjal dan diabetes mellitus

LEMBAR PENJELASAN KEPADA CALON SUBYEK PENELITIAN Selamat pagi/siang bapak/ibu, pada hari ini, saya Dr. T. Realsyah, saat ini sedang menjalani pendidikan program dokter spesialis penyakit dalam di Departemen llmu Penyakit Dalam FKUSU akan melakukan pengambilan sampel darah untuk penelitian yang berjudul Hubungan Nilai NT-proBNP dengan Keparahan Penderita Gagal Jantung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah nilai NT-proBNP mempunyai hubungan dengan tingkat keparahan gagal jantung. Dengan mengetahui nilai NT-proBNP ini pada gagal jantung, maka dapat digunakan dalam penatalaksanaan gagal jantungnya.
Bapak/ibu, pengambilan sampel darah dilakukan oleh petugas laboratorium pada daerah pembuluh darah lengan atas (v.mediana cubiti) sebanyak 3 ml dimana sebelumnya dilakukan sterilisasi pada daerah yang akan diambil darahnya. Kemudian sampel akan dikirim ke laboratorium dan akan dinilai kadarnya. Pengambilan darah ini dilakukan seaman mungkin oleh tenaga yang ahli sehingga tidak menimbulkan resiko saat pengambilannya . Seluruh pemeriksaan yang dilakukan pada bapak/ibu tidak dipungut biaya.
