6.2. Saran

1. Institusi Rumah Sakit

Pihak manajemen Rumah Sakit sebaiknya tetap memperhatikan kemampuan dan produktifitas individu-individu staf perawat untuk terus diuji kompetensinya dengan cara pelatihan yang dilakukan secara terus menerus sesuai dengan keahliannya agar safety pasien tetap menjadi prioritas di dalam pelayanan di rumah sakit dan penilaian IPSG bukan mutlak sebagai kinerja perawat namun menjadi tanggung jawab semua pemberi pelayanan di rumah sakit.

2. Institusi Pendidikan

Seharusnya lembaga pendidikan perawat melakukan pendekatan evaluasi terhadap kebijakan tentang kurikulum mengenai patient safety dengan demikian perawat sebagai mitra dokter benar-benar terlihat saat sudah berada di layanan kesehatan.

3. Perawat sebagai Responden

Sebaiknya semua staf keperawatan sudah membudayakan upaya keselamatan pasien di dalam keperawatan meliputi identifikasi pasien dengan benar, mencegah kesalahan obat, komunikasi efektif, mencegah infeksi nosokomial, mencegah jatuh serta mencegah salah orang,salah tempat dan salah prosedur tindakan pembedahan.

4. Peneliti

Dapat dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan metode penelitian yang berbeda sehingga dapat melengkapi hasil penelitian yang telah ada.
