5 KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN

5.2 Saran

1. Keterkaitan antara pola oseanografi secara spasial dan temporal dengan kecenderungan hasil tangkapan cakalang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam memutuskan lokasi dan kedalaman penangkapan, serta dalam pengaturan tingkat upaya penangkapan cakalang per musim tangkap.

2. Untuk mengintegrasikan kondisi oseanografi perairan ZEEI Samudera Hindia dan keberadaan populasi cakalang dengan kondisi wilayah pesisir Sendang Biru, analisis dimensi ekologi perlu ditambahkan dengan kajian mengenai status ekosistem pesisir di selatan Jawa Timur.

3. Kondisi atribut pada dimensi sosial, kelembagaan dan ekonomi perlu ditingkatkan dalam rangka meningkatkan status keberlanjutan multidimensi perikanan cakalang perairan ZEEI Samudera Hindia selatan Jawa Timur. 4. Status eksploitasi cakalang yang masih rendah memerlukan kajian lebih lanjut

mengenai model pengembangan perikanan dan peningkatan teknologi kapal sekoci dalam rangka mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sumberdaya cakalang secara berkelanjutan di perairan ZEEI Samudera Hindia Selatan Jawa.
