Penelitian ini dapat lebih disempurnakan lagi dengan analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan parameter nilai gizi, biaya aplikasi, dan dampak lingkungan. Perbaikan citarasa tempe pengasaman X dapat disempurnakan dengan percobaan modifikasi pengolahan lain untuk menghasilkan tempe yang memiliki skor kesukaan lebih baik dan karakteristik mendekati tempe kontrol.
