Tujuan jangka panjang dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat memproduksi enzim α-amilase melalui kloning gen penyandi α-amilase

Aspergillus niger dengan menggunakan sel inang E. coli. Oleh karena itu,

kloning dan karakterisasi gen penyandi α-amilase Aspergillus niger perlu dilanjutkan dengan uji aktivitas enzim α-amilase dan uji tingkat ekspresi gen penyandi α-amilase agar dapat diperoleh manfaat yang lebih nyata.
