5.1Simpulan

Simpulan penelitian terhadap 327 orang siswa-siswi di SMA Swasta ‘X’ Kota Bandung tentang penggunaan tabir surya periode Desember 2011 s/d Desember 2012 adalah sebagai berikut :

 Tingkat pengetahuan penggunaan tabir surya pria lebih rendah daripada wanita.

 Tingkat sikap penggunaan tabir surya pada pria lebih rendah daripada wanita.

 Tingkat perilaku penggunaan tabir surya pada pria lebih rendah daripada wanita.

5.2 Saran

Saran penulis untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan akan pentingnya penggunaan tabir surya pada kulit serta bahaya paparan sinar UV secara langsung, maka perlu digalakkan upaya penyuluhan.

Bagi masing-masing individu, penulis menyarankan agar penggunaan tabir surya mulai dilakukan setiap hari agar terbiasa. Gunakan pelindung seperti topi, payung, atau pakaian lengan panjang jika tidak sempat menggunakan tabir surya.
