The Building Societies Regulations of 1968 lls amended are further amended as follows:-
Regulation 52 is amended- (a) by, in sub-regulation (1)-
(i) omitting from paragraph (a) the expression
"33.50" and substituting the expression "39.50":
(ii) omitting from paragraph (b) the expres~ion "50"
and substituting the expression "59"; and
(iii) omitting from paragraph (c) the expressloo "61"
and substituting the expression "79";
(b) by, in sub~regulation (~)-
(i) omitting from paragraph (a) the expression "23"
and substituting .. the ex·pression "27 .. ;
(ii) omitting from paragraph (b) the e:q>ression

THE Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of the provisions of the Building Societies Act 1886-1976, has been pleased to amend the Building Societies Regulations of 1968 in the manner set out hereunder.

Regulation 52 is amended by deleting paragraphs (1), (2), (3) and (5) and inserting the following paragraphs ·in lieu thereof:-
(1) The allowances payable to the Chairman of the Contingency Fund Committee for his attendance at a meeting of the Committee shall be:-
(a) For a meeting of two hours or less, $33.50;
(b) For a meeting which exceeds two hours but does not exceed four hours, $50.00; and
(c) For a meeting which exceeds four hours; $67.00.
(2) The allowances payable to each other member of the Contingency Fund Committee for his attendance at a meeting of the Committee shall be:-
(a) For a meeting of two hours or less, $23.00;
(b) For a meeting which exceeds two hours but does not exceed four hours, $33.50; and
(c) For a meeting which exceeds four hours; $44.50.
(3) The travelling allowances payable to each member of the Committee lother than an Officer of the Public Service) shall be at the rates prescribed (from time to time) pursuant to the Public Sen·ice Act 1922-l97R for Jn Officer of the Public Ser"ice classified l-15 and higher.
(5 l The motor vehicle allowances payable to each mem·
ber of the Committee shall be at the rates prescribed (from time to time) for officers of the Public Sen icc using their
O\\ n motor vehicles pur-;uant to regulation 82 of the Public
