memory of Archibald Mackie, formerly Secretaryof

ishereby provided as follows:
1.
The Archibald Mackie Bursary, shall beawar to
anv person nominated from time totime
Commeì'cial Travellers'and Warehouse- rnen's Association (Incorporated ).o2. The value of the bursary shall be sufficient to pay once only the fees
for
lecfures and examinationin
each coursein
Accountancy or Law that the bursar rnay includein
his curriculum for the degree of Bachelor of Economics.3. The bursar shall be
in
all respects subject to the discipline and to the statutes and regulations for the time being of the University.+4. Save by permission of the Council of the University, the bursar shall not retain the bursary for more than six years.
5, The Association may,
at
any time,with
the permissionof
the Council, substitute another student for the then holder of the bursary, and the privileges of the then holder shall thereupon be at an end.This statute may be varied from time to time, but the
title

Chapter XIX.-Saving Clause and Repeal.
1. The Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Professors, Lecturers, Registrar, and other officers of the University at the time of the allowance and counter-signature

these statutes shall have the same rank, precedence, and titles, and hold their offices by the sametenure, and upon and subject
to
he same terms and. conditions, and (save the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor) receive the same salaries ând emoluments, and be subjectto
dismiisal from their ofices and suspensionfor
a time from performing the duties and receiving the salaries thereto asif
these statutes had not been made.2.
From and after the
allowanceand
countersignatureby
the Governor of these statutes there shall be repealed:-The statutes ¿rllowed and countersigned

the Governor on eachof the undermentioned days,
