An Act to provide for the increase of the salaries of certain public officers and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows :
1. This Act may be cited as the H Public Officers Salaries Act, 1952 ".
2. (1) The salaries of the Public Service Commissioner, the Auditor-General, and the Commissioner of Police shall each be increased by one hundred and fifty pounds a year, and these increases /shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of July, nineteen hundred and fifty-two and be payable in respect of the service of the said officers on and after that
day. w
(2) There shall also be payable to each of the said officers the sum of fifty pounds as an allowance for the increased cost of living during the financial year 1951-1952.
3. The money required to make the payments provided for in this Act shall be paid out of the general revenue of the State under authority of this Act and without other appropriation.
