Entries
For ARCHERY SA events (other than the Indoor), entries close at 8.00 am on the Monday preceding the event.

While you are referred to the relevant Club for tournament entry details, you will also find them via the ARCHERY SA website and the Archery Australia website (at “News/Club Events”).
Lord Mayor’s Teams Shoot
Each team comprises 3 archers of any age or gender; all scores count.
1st Division - Compound, Recurve, Crossbow & Longbow
2nd Division – Compound & Recurve
Other – Longbow, Crossbow, Barebow Compound & Barebow Recurve (Compound Teams can include Barebow Compound archers)
(Recurve Teams can include Longbow & Barebow Recurve archers) The average rating of a 2nd Division Team shall not exceed
65 for Recurve Teams
75 for Compound Teams.
Tyro Tournament
A person may enter one Tyro Tournament within the first 18 months of becoming an affiliate of Archery Australia for the first time.
AJ Barter 50Plus Tournament
Archers’ handicaps will be determined on their target/field ratings, referring to The Archers’ Diary, as at the close of entries.
The Handicap Awards are the only awards presented; for Compound – Male / Female & Recurve – Male / Female (Barebow Compound shoots as Compound & Barebow Recurve shoots as Recurve) What constitutes an Open Tournament? (Archery Australia Rules 7.4)
7.4.1 A competition, is an open tournament if (all of the following are provided):
It is advertised online and open to entrants from any other affiliated Club
The entry form and entering process is provided online
It is registered with Archery Australia or, for international status, is also registered with World Archery
A minimum of 6 people compete when there are competitors from at least two Clubs OR
a minimum of 10 people compete when there are competitors from only one Club
An Accredited Judge(s) officiates
A DOS officiates (target, indoor and clout) An Equipment Inspection is undertaken
Archery Australia official scorecards are used, in conjunction with online scoring using the
approved Results and Scoring Program
The event is conducted in accordance with Archery Australia and World Archery Rules (and/or WCSA rules, if appropriate)
Results are validated by the presentation of awards
Placings are assigned in the results to each competitor
AND
An event verification form is completed and sent to the AA Tournament and Records Committee
