Schedule of Service Charges

The library will be administered in accordance with these Rules by the Librarian of the Faculty of Law under the direction of the Head of the Law School. The Library shall be a reference Library and, except in the case of material required for use in the Law Faculty Court, or in any case approved by the Head of the School of Law, library material or equipment shall not be removed from the Library . Items left unattended in the Library for more than one hour may be removed by any staff member on duty in the Library.

Consequences of Non-payment

Union Fees means such fees as may be determined by the Council for membership of the Queensland Institute of Technology Union. CENTRAL SERVICES

Except with the approval of the Head of Department, failure to attend these field trips will adversely affect assessment in the relevant subjects. The program is jointly administered by the Academic Councils of the Schools of Applied Science and Health Science through a Standing Committee for Postgraduate Studies. A postgraduate student will not be eligible for the award of the degree -. i) in the case of a full-time student until a period of at least one year has elapsed from the time of his confirmed registration, or. ii) in the case of a part-time student until a period of at least two years has elapsed from the time of his confirmed registration.

For a registered student in the part-time course, the subjects and other work that make up the curriculum are as follows. Where an equivalent course or examination cannot be readily ascertained, an applicant may, at the discretion of the Principal, be permitted to take a qualifying examination, the satisfactory completion of which will entitle him to the status of Graduate or Diplomat for the purpose of admission. To be eligible for registration in the Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Studies an applicant must hold an UG 1 category qualification or, in some cases, an UG2 diploma with or without additional work, or some other equivalent qualification .

For a registered student, the duration of the course is normally four semesters of part-time study with a total of 540 hours of lessons and guided exercises.

For a registered student pursuing the full-time course, the subjects and other work that make up the curriculum for the six semesters are as follows. Students who began the course before 1980 and who have passed CM8101 Professional Communication A and CMB 102 Professional Communication 8 must take BE8600 Selected Topics in Biology in lieu of CMB632 Professional Communication in semester 6_. Electives and remedial programs must be chosen in consultation with the head of department or his representative.
