The Academic Council responsible for the course in which the student is enrolled must notify the Registrar of a final result no later than two weeks (or six weeks with the approval of the Academic Council) after the start of the following semester. Schedule of Service Charges
The library will be administered in accordance with these Rules by the Librarian of the Faculty of Law under the direction of the Head of the Law School. The Library shall be a reference Library and, except in the case of material required for use in the Law Faculty Court, or in any case approved by the Head of the School of Law, library material or equipment shall not be removed from the Library . Items left unattended in the Library for more than one hour may be removed by any staff member on duty in the Library.
In the event of a Law School Moot, authorized by the Head of the School of Law, the Law School Librarian or the Assistant Librarian may permit material to be removed from the Library for use in such Moot.
Consequences of Non-payment
Union Fees means such fees as may be determined by the Council for membership of the Queensland Institute of Technology Union. A student who not later than six weeks after the first day of a semester gives proper written notice to the registrar of withdrawal of his registration shall be entitled to a refund of Union fees. A student will be required to pay only one deposit, regardless of the number of such courses included in a registration.
In the event of a violation by a person not in possession of a parking permit in the parking lot of a vehicle, the director may arrange for the vehicle to be removed from the Institute's premises and the person will be obliged to pay the costs of this removal.
CENTRAL SERVICES
Staff
In addition to operating equipment, this involves advising teachers, and through them students, on how to use the Center to their advantage.
Included are two pools of 12 terminals generally available in the terminal room or classroom in the computer center. 10 key stations linked to an AWA XL40 data preparation system for use by staff in the computer center and finance department. Both systems have control systems which make it possible to use all languages and programs either in conversation via terminals or in batch mode via the card readers.
Operations
The library's collections, which consist of many different types of media, have primarily been developed to support the courses that QIT offers. Library staff are responsible for developing, organizing and utilizing the collection for the benefit of students and staff and, where relevant, the community in general. Reader education: The library staff, in collaboration with academic staff, provides training in the use of the library and non-fiction.
In addition, the library can borrow materials from other organizations on behalf of its users, giving them access to a wide range of information resources.
STUDENT SERVICES
A stereo, pool table, arcade machines and table tennis equipment are available for use by union members in the game room on level 1 of the community building from 8.30am. Student union cards will be issued at the beginning of the academic year upon submission of the GIT enrollment statement. All members of the Association can contribute any articles, poetic masterpieces, etc. to your newspapers.
Since the association's formation, there has been a gradual increase in the number of clubs and associations.
INSTITUTE FUNCTIONS
All new full-time and part-time students are welcomed to campus at an official orientation ceremony. Except with the consent of the Head of the School of Law, applicants to the external part-time Bachelor of Laws course must be resident in Queensland outside the Brisbane statistical region.

COURSES OFFERED BY EACH DEPARTMENT
Except with the approval of the Head of Department, failure to attend these field trips will adversely affect assessment in the relevant subjects. The program is jointly administered by the Academic Councils of the Schools of Applied Science and Health Science through a Standing Committee for Postgraduate Studies. A postgraduate student will not be eligible for the award of the degree -. i) in the case of a full-time student until a period of at least one year has elapsed from the time of his confirmed registration, or. ii) in the case of a part-time student until a period of at least two years has elapsed from the time of his confirmed registration.
Applicants with other qualifications (e.g. engineer) can register subject to the head of department's approval.

For a registered student in the part-time course, the subjects and other work that make up the curriculum are as follows. Where an equivalent course or examination cannot be readily ascertained, an applicant may, at the discretion of the Principal, be permitted to take a qualifying examination, the satisfactory completion of which will entitle him to the status of Graduate or Diplomat for the purpose of admission. To be eligible for registration in the Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Studies an applicant must hold an UG 1 category qualification or, in some cases, an UG2 diploma with or without additional work, or some other equivalent qualification .
For a registered student, the duration of the course is normally four semesters of part-time study with a total of 540 hours of lessons and guided exercises.
