Changes to 30981QLD Certificate II in Workplace Practices
Purpose
To inform schools about a recent amendment to the accredited course 30981QLD Certificate II in Workplace Practices.
Background
30981QLD Certificate II in Workplace Practices was accredited by the Australian Quality Skills Authority (ASQA) on 29 November 2011. ASQA subsequently approved a minor amendment to 30981QLD Certificate II in Workplace Practices on 16 August 2013.
Information
One of the core units of competency is now superseded and has been replaced.

What you need to do
School RTOs currently registered for 30981QLD
Schools currently registered for the superseded unit of competency (BSBOHS201A) will be automatically registered for the replacement (BSBWHS201A).
In line with the requirements in ASQA's General direction: Transition & teach-out for superseded units of competency (www.asqa.gov.au/about-asqa/general-directions.html):
• current students must be transitioned to BSBWHS201A if they do not complete BSBOHS201A before 17 December 2013
• new students must be enrolled in BSBWHS201A.
Schools wanting to register for 30981QLD
Schools must apply for the latest version of 30981QLD and will be registered for BSBWHS201A in the list of units for the accredited course.
