Co-Supervisor Quick Guide to Progress Reports-

External co-supervisors: Please read the PDF that will be e-mailed to you and then send your comments to the primary supervisor

Internal co-supervisors

1. Once you have received email notification of a progress report to review from the Primary Supervisor, log into RIMS. You can still log in and complete the report if you have not received an email, it is a reminder only.

2. The link is http://rims.massey.ac.nz. Use your staff id and Massey password to log in.

3. Under GRS, select Progress Reviews

4. Select the student from the list. The default setting is “For Assessment Review”. If you cannot see the student you are looking for, select “All Progress Reviews”.

5. On the left hand navigation pane, select the sections you wish to read. To review it all, use the green arrows top right or bottom right to move between each page.

6. When you have completed your viewing, navigate to Part C – Co-Supervisors Report, Candidate Progress.

7. If you are not the first Co-supervisor to comment, the page will already have comments in it.

Add your comments below with your initials in front.

8. If you are the first Co-supervisor to comment, also answer question 2.

9. Then from the Action tab select Complete My Review.

10. Select OK to the message.

11. If you wish to get a copy of the report as a pdf, when the progress report is open, click on the reports icon on the top right of the page.

12. Select the HDR Progress Review and PDF as the options

A pdf will be created for you to save or print.
