34; Permit for the production of egg porridge" - License granted to a person in accordance with the provisions of this part of these regulations for the production of egg porridge in the facility for the production of egg porridge; 34; License for the pasteurization of egg porridge" - License issued to a person in accordance with with the provisions of this part of these regulations for pasteurization of egg pulp in the plant for pasteurization of egg pulp specified there; 34; "Production room" - a space that is part of an egg pulp production plant, which is kept or used for breaking eggs and for the production and/or pasteurization of egg pulp;.
34;Pasteurized egg pulp"—egg pulp which has been heat-treated and cooled in the method prescribed in these Regulations;. Except in accordance with the provisions of regulation 117 ( 1 ) of these Regulations, a person shall not use a licensed egg pulping plant for purposes other than the manufacture of egg pulp A person shall not use any premises as an egg pulping plant unless separate premises of adequate size are provided for the purpose of breaking eggs and the manufacture of egg pulp and for the storage of eggs respectively: Provided, however, that such a storage room can be used for washing eggs in accordance with the provisions of rule 110.
Except in accordance with the provisions of regulation 117 ( 1 ) of these Regulations, a person shall not use the manufacturing premises of an egg dissolving plant for any purpose other than for breaking eggs and for the manufacture of egg pulp. A person shall not, in an egg dissolving plant, use a table or other horizontal surface (whether movable or fixed) for any purpose in connection with the production of egg mass, unless such table or horizontal surface is provided with a stainless steel surface . A person shall not use in an egg dissolving facility any cracking equipment or can, container, or other container used for the production and transportation of egg mass therein, unless all such equipment is constructed of stainless steel or other approved material.
A person may not store any material not essential to the current production of egg pulp at an egg pulp plant there, unless the storage of such material is approved by an Inspector. The licensee of an egg pulping plant must provide adequate refrigeration facilities and accommodation to enable all egg pulp produced and stored therein to be: pre-cooled or hard frozen: as required by the provisions of Regulation 111 (e) (f) of these Regulations. A person may not use any cans with an egg pulp for the storage or transportation of egg pulp, unless such cans are inspected immediately before use and found to be free from the presence of water, foreign matter or abnormal odors.
A person may not use in an egg pulping plant for the production of egg pulp inedible eggs or eggs that have a bad smell or abnormal appearance. Notwithstanding the provisions herein contained in this sub-regulation (2), a license shall not initially be granted unless the applicant for such licence, plans and specifications of the premises and equipment used for the pasteurisation of egg, submit to the Chief Inspector for approval. - pulp.
